Babies Growing Up While New Ones Hatch

The happenings for the week of August 9, 2020 - August 15, 2020

And the baby train just keeps moving along! The ducklings we've been waiting for finally arrived. Here's some highlights to show you anything you missed along the way.

Of course they went about being all cute and stuffs.

It quickly became apparent that the two nesting boxes just weren't working out in there ...

So FarmerSpence decided to remove the boxes to make it easier on both the babies, and the moms. And one little one got a bit of a ride in the process.

Seems like everyone is happier now with no boxes to get in the way.

Speaking of babies, the chicks at the farm are getting bigger!

Even trying to roost.

Billie Jr is also growing up quickly.

Getting used to the feeder as well!

Banksy does not seem to be a fan of the geese. At all.

But seems to have no issues with the ducks.

The ewes got to spend some time out of their enclosure, free to do some roaming around.

That's all for this week. We'll be spending the upcoming weeks just watching babies grow. Until then, it seems the ducks might be rubbing off on Jinx a tiny bit. See you in chat!
