A Feisty Pocket, Duck Eggs and the Passing of Primrose
The weekly happenings for the week of June 14, 2020 - June 20, 2020
We begin the week with a still very feisty Pocket!
And still not a fan of being picked up. At all.
Speaking of roos, Remmy has finally decided to try and start crowing.
In the feisty hen department, we have Garnet. Who doesn't care for hands at all.
This week saw the addition of more ducks!
Sadly, the order FarmerSpence placed for some baby ducks was cancelled. But since Millie is still determined to be broody, he gave her some ducks eggs to sit on to see if we can hatch our own baby ducks.
Now it seems like Elsa might also be broody, so she too was given duck eggs to hatch.
Sadly, this week also marked the passing of Primrose. She was an older hen and we didn't get to know her very well because she was fairly shy. But she was still a chat favorite and will be missed.

The sheep moved to their new area by the roos this week. This new area will give them plenty of shade which they'll need this summer!
