The happening for the week of August 23, 2020 - August 29, 2020

This week we sadly had to say goodbye to one of the oldest hens at the coop, Little Red Hen. She was much loved and it was very hard on the family who've know her for so long. It was lovely to know you, Red.

While we say goodbye to one hen, we say hello to another new face that is currently nicknamed, Lavender.

It didn't take her long to make her way to the treat machine all on her own.

Sadly, the ducklings and the hens are just not getting along together. The ducklings were put into the hutch to protect them for a bit longer while they did some more growing up. Thinking the storm had passed, he let the ducklings back out into the yard. But the hens had other ideas.

Silver finally got her glamour shots and she looks super cute in them!

Shadow, on the other hand, has perfected the art of getting the apple out and all to herself.

While Faith and Hope keep looking for ways to escape.

And Hope ... crows?

Speaking of crowing, FarmerSpence moved the roost in the Cottage outside and Remmy found it in no time.

And one day the little one will learn how to roost ... maybe.

Over at the duck pond ... MORE DUCKS! Meet Apollo, Artemis and Baby.

That's about it for this week! So until next time, watch some pre-teens eating some snacks. See you in chat!
